Since then modders and texture pack artists have scrambled to be able to provide a solution. 2nd generation shaders such as the Continuum Shaders 1.19.2 has taken the ideas from previous ones and attempted to make everything look better than before.

The demand for better visuals in Minecraft has been on it's highest point since devices began to rapidly evolve in terms of specifications in 2015.

These days even using a 256x resolution packs won't be enough to satisfy the wants of modern gamers.

This is because in comparison with other famous games, Minecraft's visuals are far too outdated in terms of vanilla graphics. But lucky for us, shaders are here to save the game.

What is Continuum Shaders 1.19.2

Continuum 1.19.2 was created by a programmer that goes by the alias of dotModded. Before he started on this project he talked and communicated with Cody Darr to ask for permission to observe the code of SEUS shaders, which happens to be a Top Shader for Minecraft.

Of course he was given the permission, and started working on this project on his own. And the rest is history.

This shader focuses on making things seem realistic. Every design and feature is made to make the game look like it is using a high definition texture pack every time.

Even if you are using a basic pack or the vanilla pack, you'd still observe enhanced visuals especially on the sky and the waters.

Is Continuum 1.19.2 Shaders Worth the Download

We definitely think that 1.19.2 Continuum is still a good choice despite it being based from SEUS Shaders.

This is because, it's code might be not fully original, however it's artistic concept is. When you compare both shaders side by side you might not even quickly figure out the similarities.

Also Continuum provides one of the best light balance among any shaders which is why we definitely think it's worth a download.

If you wish to proceed in downloading this Minecraft Shader then we highly suggest that you first download Optifine.

That mod can help you make sure that you can run any Shaders. Vanilla Minecraft is not able to do so, which is why you'll need the help of Optifine to be able to quickly turn any shader on or off.

  • Colors are not too light, nor too contrasted. It just looks great.
  • Perfect combination of light balance.
  • Amazing details and enhancements with the bodies of water

  • Is technically based on SEUS Shaders
  • Does not improve block textures nor does it make them smoother or look connected
  • The skybox and clouds could use a rework.
