As you can probably guess from the mod’s title, this mod is all about changing how Minecraft’s trees interact with the rest of the Minecraft world. Are you just sick and tired of having to fell trees block by block? Bored of having to take down trees manually? Well, this tree mod changes the game’s mechanics so that trees fall down entirely after being cut at their base. Just one chopped block and the whole thing comes tumbling down.

Is Trees Do Not Float Minecraft Mod 1.16 fun to play with?

This tree pack is great. There are quite a few different tree packs out there these days, but this one still manages to stand out among the others. It’s a fantastic tool for survival players who want to quickly stock up on logs and other tree resources, and it’s even a great way for players to clean up your worlds quickly in creative mode. Chopping trees block by block is no longer a problem within Minecraft’s game flow.

This mod works by tweaking the way trees interact with your block breaking. Instead of working like all the other blocks in the game, trees now collapse after a point of contact is broken. This means you can take entire trees down, no matter what the size, with just a single break of a block!

It’s a super useful tool to have, but one downside is that it doesn’t quite work in a realistic fashion, and the tree falls down no matter which part of it you break. This could be changed so that the tree collapse reflects the location of the block you removed, but that’s just a personal gripe and doesn’t detract from the mod too much.

Fundamentally, this mod is an insanely convenient mod to have installed for a vast selection of different Minecraft playstyles. Lay waste to entire forests in minutes with help from this mod’s simple no-floating-tree solutions. Without changing much, this mod is an excellent choice if you want to really shake up the way you play the game.

How to install Trees Do Not Float Minecraft Mod 1.16:

For this mod installation process, we’ll be using Fabric to install our tree mod. If you don’t have Fabric installed, simply download the version of the Fabric Loader that matches your version of Minecraft. Then just follow the prompts shown by the installer. You also need to make sure to download the Fabric API for your version of Minecraft and place the jar file into your mods folder shown in the table below.

When that’s done, download the Trees Do Not Float jar file and locate the file directory shown in the table below:

Once you have found the file directory, locate the folder called ‘mods and open it’. Once the folder is open, place the jar file into the folder. To use the mod, start the game with the Fabric 1.16  profile through the Minecraft Launcher.
