What is Thalyrus Medieval Warfare 1.15.2?
Thalyrus Medieval Warfare 1.15.2 shares quite a bit in common with a lot of the RPG-inspired packs for Minecraft all over the internet. However, where those packs pull inspiration from the fantasy genre, Thalyrus Medieval Warfare 1.15.2 draws direct inspiration from the historical strategy video game genre.
Is Thalyrus Medieval Warfare 1.15.2 fun to play with?
As a fan of medieval history and medieval styled resource packs, I feel confident in singing Thalyrus Medieval Warfare’s praises. Although I haven’t much history (no pun intended) with the strategic warfare genre, I still very much enjoyed the period of time I had playing with this pack.
The biggest draw Thalyrus Medieval Warfare seems to have is its accurate and visually exciting portrayal of a period in history. The armour and weapons take a very front and centre position in the pack’s selection of textures. Armour here looks chunky and detailed with a menacing outward appearance. Specifically, the chainmail armour looks fantastic, especially in a group of players duking it out. Weapons are equally sinister-looking, and fans of medieval warfare will certainly feel satisfied in this regard.
The block textures in the pack are also very high quality. The design is very entrenched within the pack’s many inspirations, and the result leaves you feeling very immersed. This is also compounded thanks to the blocks added 3D models. Blocks such as the loom at cartographer’s table have custom models that include extra detail, making the game feel much more authentically medieval.
The only bad thing I can think of when it comes to Thalyrus Medieval Warfare is that the colour pallete is a little bit muddy. The murky aesthetic does work well with the subject matter, but players who prefer brightly lit packs might want to look elsewhere.
So that’s it! Unless you hate medieval warfare, historically rooted resource packs, or simply hate a well made resource pack, then there’s no reason to keep yourself away from Thalyrus Medieval Warfare. With a set of beautifully made textures, stylistically bold designs and custom 3D models, this pack is a must-try for fans of medieval or fantasy pieces of media.
