Star Trek Texture pack 1.15.1 ODYSSEY is a resource pack for Minecraft 1.15 that is out of this world! In fact it’s so out of this world, it’s in space! We all know the iconic sci-fi series Star Trek, famous for its utopian view of humanity’s future, career-defining performances and overall charm that cemented it as one of the most famous pieces of media ever. So it’s no wonder that the series has managed to spawn not only Star Trek packs, but packs for its many spinoffs and fan productions. We’re here today to talk about the pack dedicated to Star Trek: Odyssey, so strap in and get ready for warp speed as we dive into this sci-fi themed pack!

Star Trek Texture pack 1.15.1 ODYSSEY is, as I’ve already said, a resource pack dedicated to Star Trek. What makes this one different however is the fact that it is only focused on replicating the look of the Star Trek fan production Odyssey.

What is Star Trek Texture pack 1.15.1 ODYSSEY like to play with?

As someone who hasn’t ever been a big fan of Star Trek or its many iterations, I didn’t actually recognise the name Odyssey on first glance. But after a quick bit of ninja-googling, I discovered that Star Trek: Odyssey is actual a fan production of Star Trek that uses the same concepts and licensing as the iconic series, but made directly by the fans. Neat!

Star Trek Texture pack 1.15.1 ODYSSEY, like other Star Trek packs I’ve covered on this site, is very high quality. It’s full of tons of great sci-fi textures and 3D models that look fantastic and evoke the show very well. It’s very atmospheric, and it’s awesome to see such unique and wellmade models appear in a resource pack rather than in a dedicated Star Trek mod.

My worry is that due to the niche nature of an Odyssey themed resource pack, there isn’t much demand for a pack like this. I do realise that this pack is simply a riff on the general Star Trek resource packs out there, (much like the Odyssey show itself) but it does seem like this pack is really for the super trekkies out there, rather than a big pool of general Minecraft players.

To begin, download the zip file for Star Trek Texture pack 1.15.1 ODYSSEY. Once the file is downloaded, put it somewhere you can grab it again later. Next, go to Minecraft’s game files and open the folder named ‘resourcepacks’.
