What is Smuthy’s Daytime Resource Pack 1.16?
Have you ever noticed how difficult nighttime play is? Or how dark and moody the Nether is? One of the biggest problems with the Nether can be just navigating your way around it, or just staying in there without getting depressed by all the spooky stuff going on in the game. Enter: Smuth’s Daytime. This pack is designed to add a whole new layer of lighthearted fun to our favourite block-based game.
Is Smuthy’s Daytime Resource Pack 1.16 a good pack to install?
With the 1.16 snapshot now available to play with, many of us Minecrafters have been spending a lot of time in the Nether. Understandably though, the Nether is a dark and moody place, which can be a bit of a bummer over long periods of time. But thanks to this pack, we can really enjoy everything this underground hell world has to offer!
Smuthy’s pack has really managed to stand out against similar packs for some time now, mostly due to its commitment to super high quality pack design. The pack is very well known for its unique and professional art style, and it is just full of beautifully made textures and models. From 3D models and variants to animated textures, this is a great pack to have not just in the Nether, but in all moments of your Minecraft playthroughs.
The pack manages to breathe a bit of new life into the old Minecraft formula. The aesthetic of everything is certainly unique, but it still has a degree of welcome familiarity. Whether it’s the wholesome feel of Overworld forests or the blistering hot atmosphere of the Nether’s lava seas, this pack never lets you feel down or depressed.
Personally, I really enjoyed the pack’s take on all of the new 1.16 content. I don’t think the Nether has looked this good in a long time. One particular favourite addition for me was the pack’s Strider retexture, which has been given a cuter, although admittedly grumpy-looking, facial design. Great for whatever Minecraft misadventures you might be getting up to, Smuthy’s pack never fails to deliver on its promise to be an excellent quality resource pack.
