SimpliX 1.15.2 Texture Pack is a resource pack for Minecraft 1.15.2 that takes things back to basics. Ever wish you could just strip things back to a simpler and less-complicated look? Then here’s the resource pack for you? Keep reading to hear all about what makes this pack simply great.
What is SimpliX 1.15.2 Texture Pack?
SimpliX 1.15.2 Texture Pack is a basic pack with a basic goal: to make Minecraft’s visuals simple. Well, I guess, simpler. Minecraft might be known for having ‘bad’ or ‘unimpressive’ graphics, but that hasn’t stopped loads of players creating their own unique textures to further push how minimalist and simplistic the game can look.
Is SimpliX 1.15.2 Texture Pack fun to play with?
I am a big sucker for simplistic Minecraft pack. It’s a personal thing of mine to try as many minimalist and bare bones packs that I possibly can. So it’s fair to say that I’ve tried a lot in my time. Making these kinds of packs is a deceptively difficult task, and I always find it very fulfilling to see what lengths artists and creators will go to realise their vision.
SimpliX 1.15.2 Texture Pack is one of these kinds of packs. The textures here are stylistic and conceptually strong, with a nice colour pallete to boot. The creator has taken a symmetrical approach to all of the pack’s designs, using repeating square shapes to emphasise Minecraft’s blocky DNA, giving everything a clean cut and very polished feel.
Fans of more complicated packs won’t find much to enjoy here, but those of you who appreciate the simpler approach will have a blast wandering through the block world of Minecraft with this semi-cartoony resource pack installed. Although the pack might rely a bit too heavily on symmetrical imagery for its texture designs, the symmetry works very well in its favour, and the bright and varied colour pallete is faithful to Minecraft’s original lighthearted tone.
Some of my favourite blocks were the more simplistic offerings the pack included, such as the grass block. Stripping away all the unnecessary detail, these kinds of blocks are super minimalist yet still manage to look great and keep things visually compelling after hours of play.
This is a great little resource pack for players who enjoy more minimalist looks for their Minecraft playthroughs. With its basic textures and no-fuss design approach, you won’t be disappointed with SimpliX 1.15.2 Texture Pack.
