Like the creator’s other resource packs, this pack focuses primarily on the Minecraft skybox, as well as a general colour scheme for PVP items.

Let’s discuss the skybox first. The Rose Revamp skybox is one of the better skyboxes that I’ve seen in a Minecraft resource pack. It can be very difficult to present a visually effective skybox in Minecraft.

To keep the game running smoothly on Java, creators need to find the perfect balance between quality and performance. Rose Revamp does this very well. It doesn’t try to mimic triple-A games and stays close enough to Minecraft’s visual style that it matches the vanilla game very well.

Now, you’re probably here to read about PVP, so let’s get into that. The must-have items for player vs player action are all accounted for here with flashy new textures. This is where Rose Revamp derives its name.

Diamond items like swords, armour and tools are now a pretty rose to pink colour. This looks great with a full set of armour (which you’re likely to have in a battle scenario). There are also pink splashes on top of the hotbar.

This works fantastically against the updated minimalist design with the large pink arrows pointing toward whichever item you currently have selected. This is much better than a lot of other resource packs where colours become muddy.

The textures in this pack aren’t the highest resolution available, but the 32x upgrade from vanilla MInecraft allows a lot more detail to come through in the PVP items you’re going to be using very often.

This can be a great refresher for PVP players that have found that their current resource pack has become a bit stale. It is very similar to the creator’s other packs, but manages to rise above some of the niggles seen in those other resource packs through its better colour design.

So, if you love PVP but can’t stand to look at vanilla Minecraft anymore, we can’t recommend installing Rose Revamp 1.14.4 32x enough. With an awesome and realistic skybox, cool item textures and improved hotbar, you’ll get nothing but an increased advantage with this rosey resource pack.
