Rick Texture Pack 1.15.1

Rick Texture Pack 1.15.1 - 1

Wubba lubba dub dub! Rick Texture Pack 1.15.1 is a resource pack for Minecraft that transforms every creature in Minecraft into a strange morph of Rick from the hit TV show Rick and Morty. The results are like something ripped straight out of an episode of the show, with the pack acting like a strange universe where Rick and Morty and Minecraft are combined. If you love the show, this is obviously the perfect pack for you. But is there still something there for non-fans? Read on to find out. Let's get schwifty!

What is Rick Texture Pack 1.15.1?

Rick Texture Pack 1.15.1 changes all of Minecraft’s mobs into different Ricks, essentially. All of the game’s mobs have adopted Rick’s immediately recognisable angry facial expression as well as his famously blue monobrow. The result is something that has to be seen to be believed.

What is Rick Texture Pack 1.15.1 like to play with?

Like the show that the pack is based on, Rick Texture Pack 1.15.1 is a comedy resource pack. It presents a lighthearted tone that can be appreciated by fans and non-fans alike.

On a technical level, the pack is made up of a singular Rick face placed on top of all of the game’s mobs. Generally speaking as someone who has only ever caught a few episodes of the show, the Rick face is pretty recognisable as the titular character. The best results are clearly seen on the villager mobs, which is helped by the mobs’ large nose, making the character look more like the eponymous Rick. Though the results are a bit less successful when it comes to mobs like the pig, which doesn't really suit the human features of Rick’s face, and the results are less anthropomorphic and more just unusual. This does add to the comedy of the pack though, so it could be seen as a positive to some.

Unfortunately, if you’re not a fan of the show already, there’s not much here that’ll win you over to the show and I don’t think there’s much reason for you to keep this pack installed. It is a funny pack though, and I can appreciate the fan community’s dedication to their favourite show.
