It’s a simple yet effective pack that is a perfect customization option for people who love iconic video game memes and objects.

Portal Gun Bow 1.15.1 Weapon Texture Pack is an awesome resource pack to play with. As a huge fan of both of the Portal games, getting to use the mind blowing gun in my all-time favourite game was a joy.

The gun itself has an awesome 3D model. Rather than the 2.5D bow model that’s used in default Minecraft, this new model is incredibly detailed and looks very impressive for resource pack content. It looks very accurate to the original game’s model, despite the original’s very spherical and smooth design which obviously proves problematic in the block-based world of Minecraft.

I was a bit disappointed that the pack didn’t go even further into the Portal immersion by tweaking how the game’s arrows look and work. Think of how amazing it would be to have the arrows changed to the iconic blue and orange portals from the eponymous game. Likewise, it would have been awesome to hear the instantly recognisable sounds from the game as well. This would be a relatively simple addition too, so it was kind of a bummer to see that it wasn’t included by the creator.

Portal Gun Bow 1.15.1 Weapon Texture Pack doesn’t offer quite as much as the various Portal Minecraft mods that have been released over the years, such as fully-working portals along with accurate physics, the pack is still worth the time spent installing it. If you love Minecraft and Portal, then this is definitely a pack you need to check out!

How to install Portal Gun Bow 1.15.1 Weapon Texture Pack?

If you’ve never installed a resource pack before it can be difficult to know where to start. That’s why I’ve included my simple resource pack installation guide that will have you installing and playing in no time at all!

First, download Portal Gun Bow 1.15.1 Weapon Texture Pack and place the zip file somewhere you can find it again later. The next step is to find and open the folder where Minecraft stores resource pack folders inside the game files. The simplest way of doing this is by going to the game’s option menu. From there, navigate to the resource pack menu and click  ‘open resource pack folder’ at the bottom of the screen. Another way is to sift through your computer’s files.
