Peegs - Pig Bees Texture Pack 1.15 is a resource pack for Minecraft 1.15 that celebrates the new update with a bang. Or should that be an oink? This silly pack transforms the newly-added bee mobs into tiny, flying pigs—hence the name.
What is Peegs - Pig Bees Texture Pack 1.15?
Peegs - Pig Bees Texture Pack 1.15 is a super simple pack that changes the new bee texture into a custom-made pig texture. Using the art style of the classic Minecraft pig, the creator of this pack has made a strange yet wonderful hybrid. If you’re a fan of meme and funny resource packs, then Peegs - Pig Bees Texture Pack 1.15 is a great option whilst trying out the new update.
What is Peegs - Pig Bees Texture Pack 1.15 like when installed?
Peegs - Pig Bees Texture Pack 1.15 is a simple but still oddly satisfying pack. It’s not the biggest resource pack I’ve ever played, but it’s also far from the worst. Ultimately, the pack changes the new bee mobs into pigs. A strange addition yes, but a funny one.
The bee pigs, or peegs, themselves are actually very well made. Although you might assume making bees into pigs would be a simple copy and paste job, the creator will have had to create a new custom texture that fit the dimensions of the bee mobs whilst still keeping the iconic Minecraft pig’s texture design. The end result is actually very cute and it’s hard to give any criticism with a bunch of cute, tiny pigs flying around. When pigs fly, eh?
Despite its simplicity, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pack also makes use of OptiFine’s random textures, allowing for some peegs to have unique textures. From what I saw, this results in some peegs being covered in mud and dirt, which was a nice detail that I was not expecting to see. Further to this, the detail of changing the bees’ name to peegs in the game files was a nice touch, although it would have been nice to have this in more than one language option other than US English.
With all that said, if you’re a bit of a prankster and enjoy a bit of silliness whilst you play Minecraft, you can’t really go wrong with Peegs - Pig Bees Texture Pack 1.15. What a perfect way to experience the new update by turning the whole thing on its head. You’ll be able to tell if you like the pack from the name alone, and I’ll let you be the judge of that.
