New Default+ is a resource pack created by SeaOfPixels. He originally created this pack for the purpose of providing a new standard on how default Minecraft should look. This resource pack runs on the same resolution as the original texture pack at 16x resolution.
Just by looking at it you can quickly see the great art done on the designs of the textures. It combines a nice shading technique and good color fading. Also, the blocks are so good that they seem seamless even without any mods.
This resource pack falls under the genre of a default resource pack since it remains the same as the OG textures. This means that you won't need Optifine to run it but we still recommend it though. It contains over 200 custom block designs plus new fog of war particles.
