However, it did sort of backfire. Barely anyone played it and it was not getting the buzz it was projected to get and eventually got shut down. Luckily we have Minecraft Live 16x Resource Pack 1.18 to remind us of it's own take on the default texture packs of Minecraft.
What is Minecraft Live 16x Resource Pack 1.18
This texture pack was created by the pack maker which is named as AxolotlMC. He is fairly new to pack creations. His name might not be heard that much but he did do a very good job in replicating and imitating all of the resource packs from Minecraft Live. He did it all with the purpose of providing the small fanbase a little experience of Minecraft Live again.
When you look at the base look of this pack you can quickly say that it was done well. The shading and designs of each block completely copy that of Minecraft Live. In fact it has almost been copied entirely. There are a few differences but you can't notice it at all. When used with BSL shaders, definitely makes it look even more immersive.
Is 16x Minecraft Live Pack Worth the Download
Yes, we think this is one of the best looking default resource packs for Minecraft. It has some Faithful elements on it since it does have some modifications. However, technically it is just the default textures from Minecraft Live. If you loved how that mobile game looked then you are definitely going to love this resource pack.
Although this pack is only running on 16x resolution, we still think that you should download Optifine first before trying to make the game run with this pack on. It is evident to do so to minimize potential glitches and visual bugs.
