How to install Minecraft Forge 1.15.2

First off, begin the available download for Forge 1.15.2. Once it’s downloaded, locate the jar file and move it to your desktop. Next, rick click the jar file and open it with Java (™) Platform SE Binary. If you don’t see this option, you need to download Java (™) Platform SE Binary from the Java website.

Once the file is opened, the Forge installer should begin. This is handy as all you need to do is select ‘install client’ and then click ‘OK’. If an error message appears, close the jar file and open up vanilla Minecraft for the version you are using mods for at least once before retrying the installation. After you hit ‘OK’ Forge will then install.

To use Forge, open the Minecraft Launcher and select the new Forge profile at the bottom of the screen. If you can’t see a Forge profile, go to ‘installations’ and select ‘new’. Once here, select the release version with forge in the ‘version’ dropdown menu. Then click create.
