What is Greninja PvP Texture Pack 64x 1.8.9 / 1.8
This pack is a super idiosyncratic pack that offers a truly unique PVP pack experience. With sharp-looking swords textures and eye-catching armour colours, this pack is a solid choice for any PVP fanatic. Covering all of your favourite PVP items such as swords, armour and tools, rest assured that this pack will give you everything you need to have an advantage as you smite your foes, and gives you everything you need to look good whilst you do it.
Is Greninja PvP Texture Pack 64x 1.8.9 / 1.8 a good pack to install?
It sure is. This pack is definitely unique and has some elements that you won’t be able to find with other resource packs. Most notable of these elements is the Pokemon undercurrent seen throughout. Honestly, I don’t know much about Pokemon. But I do know how to use a search engine! And after a quick internet search, I know that Greninja is actually the name of a cool-looking Pokemon that is featured on the pack’s icon and armour sets.
All the classic PVP retextures you expect from a PVP pack are here. The pack uses a very high resolution set of sword textures that really give the game’s classic weapons a new sense of ferocity. Even your faithful items such as golden apples, buckets of lava and potions have seen a high-res upgrade, although some of these new retextures aren’t much to my taste and I find them a little bit unpalatable.
The diamond armour set, with it being the set you’re going to use the most during PVP, looks great here. The colours really pop out with a more mature, deep blue colour scheme rather than the base game’s gaudy, bright blue affair. Though the armour may be hit and miss for some, as the armour does feature the titular Geninja on it, which obviously may leave some players in love with the pack and some players feeling excluded.
This is all-round great pack to play with and I highly recommend it if you’re looking for an easy way to shake up your current PVP setup.
