Exposa Unique Shaders1.14.4 could definitely be an example of nominative determinism, because if there’s one thing this pack has going for it, it’s how unique it is! For all you effect chasers and cinematic lovers out there, keep reading to hear our exposé on what makes this unique pack the way it is.
What is Exposa Unique Shaders 1.14.4?
Exposa Unique Shaders 1.14.4 is a pack that isn’t afraid to pull any punches in its approach to shader pack design. Trust us, this is a shader pack that means business.
What is Exposa Unique Shaders 1.14.4 like to play with?
Tossing aside the worries of performance, Exposa Unique Shaders is a pretty in-your-face type of pack. Right from the get-go the pack has all of its fancy tricks and effects turned on, so you’re instantly shown just exactly what this pack can achieve when it looks its best.
Unfortunately though, keeping this pack looking good is more difficult than it may seem. I encountered a few graphical issues, especially with clouds, resulting me in having to turn off a few settings to keep things from looking a bit ugly.
The lighting, although genuinely beautiful at times, is so cinematically styled that it sometimes actually becomes cumbersome to use in general gameplay. Even at nighttime, the moon beams like a spotlight across the world. And although this results in some stellar looking screenshots, being blinded at the turn of every corner is something we’d all like to avoid.
Exposa achieves its cinematic feel with a slew of processes and effects including shader staples such as depth of field, motion blur, dynamic lighting and more. What makes it stand out however is the pack’s cinema-inspired aspect ratio black bars that sit horizontally across the top and bottom of the screen. With its sharp focus towards visual engagement, Exposa is the sort of pack that was made for Minecraft videos, be them build videos or even short films.
This huge amount of effects does come at a cost though. During my playthrough the pack was definitely making my computer run for its money and ultimately the pack didn’t feel like it was best suited for regular and general Minecraft play. Though, if you need a pack for your next video, I can highly recommend this one.
If you’re after a pack that will blow your socks off with an onslaught of processes, effects and other little details, there aren’t many packs quite as unique as Exposa 1.14.4. With a practical cornucopia of visual goodies to play with, Exposa Unique Shaders is for the players looking to unlock their inner cinematographer.
