Is Dark Modern GUIs 32x 1.16 Texture Pack fun to play with?

This pack really is one that is hard to complain about. For years now this pack has been giving players the option to add a little depth to their Minecraft visual experience. Dark modes have become very popular over the past few years, with loads of websites offering an experience that’s a little on the darker side. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that this pack has managed to make a name for itself among the content-hungry Minecraft community.

The changes are actually fairly minimal. Rather than the game’s default GUI that is coloured as a pale, light grey, this pack adopts a beautiful dark grey colour. It’s definitely the complete opposite of what vanilla Minecraft has to offer, and its surprising how such a small concept change can leave such a big impact on the game overall.

What’s great about this pack is that its simplicity also allows for further customization. Being easily stacked on top of other resource packs, you can truly customize your resource pack setup to construct a bespoke visual experience that is tailored to your exact needs and preferences.

My only gripe with this pack is that due to the dark background, some players might find text hard to read. It would be great if the text could be optimised in some way to offer a higher degree of visibility to players who are hard of sight.

Download Dark Modern GUIs and keep the zip file in a safe location on your PC. The next step is to find and open Minecraft’s resource pack folder. There’s two ways of doing this: either go to Minecraft’s main menu and go to options>resourcepacks>open resource pack folder, or use the table below to find the file directory you need depending on your operating system.
