I loved playing with Beyond The Lands 1.15.2 Minecraft Texture Pack, and I think it’s going to have to become a regular member of my resource pack library. Everything about this pack, from the logo, the textures, even the GUI just screams high quality.

The packs textures are at 16×16, and the creator employs a visual style that is very reminiscent of Minecraft’s pre-existing textures that doesn’t ever leave you feeling like you’re missing out on that classic Minecraft charm. Somehow the pack manages to inject a whole load of detail and shading in such a low resolution space.

One of my personal favourite additions is the tweaks made to NPC villagers. I’ve never really liked the art style of the villagers as I always thought they should reflect the default Minecraft skins more closely. This pack follows the same line of thinking, transforming the game’s NPCs to look more like player skins, which makes the world feel a lot closer to something like an RPG video game.

Ultimately, this pack is a huge triumph in resource pack design. It’s got a massive amount of appeal to a wide amount of players, and you’d be a fool to give it a miss. With great textures, awesome details and excellent shading I really can’t recommend it enough, but I’m sure the screenshots speak for themselves.
