What is BetterVanillaBuilding 1.16 Resource Pack?
This pack is a very clever pack that is the perfect tool for any serious, vanilla-minded Minecraft builder. Essentially by making heavy use of Optifine, the pack manages to create new and exciting textural designs that really help to elevate your builds to whole new levels. Basically, it’s the cool smooth grass effect from Optifine but to the nth degree.
Is BetterVanillaBuilding 1.16 Resource Pack fun to play with?
Yes, I love this pack! This pack is super clever in the way it utilises Optifine’s ‘connected textures’ feature to create original textures that really add a whole new layer to the way you see building in Minecraft.
Safe to say, if you’re a big fan of building like I am, then you’ll love this pack. It feels like it was made by someone who really appreciates construction in Minecraft and you get this sense that they really poured their heart and soul into the design of the pack.
One of the best ways to experience this pack is by simply experimenting with the different block combinations to see what kind of interesting and unique results occur. There’s a seriously large amount of different variants to discover here and it really reignited a sense of discovery in Minecraft that I haven’t felt in quite a long time.
The biggest downside to this pack is obviously the fact it requires Optifine to run. Without it, you don’t have much to play around with, frankly. And with 1.16 coming out, it might be a little while until Optifine gets its official 1.16 up and ready.
Builders: please don’t deny yourself this whopper of a resource pack. Just as much as you rely on creative mode and build sculpting tools, give yourself a new entry into your creative arsenal that unlocks an untold amount of potential for you and your upcoming Minecraft creations.
What’s good about BetterVanillaBuilding 1.16 Resource Pack:

✔ Doesn’t affect the game’s performance at all thanks to its faithful texture designs

What’s not-so-good about BetterVanillaBuilding 1.16 Resource Pack:
X Not the most useful pack for players who aren’t into creativity or building
X Would only recommend to really serious faithful builders
X As of publication, Optifine is not ready for 1.16 yet
