Firstly, let’s talk PVP items. Since you’re here, you’re probably a PVP big shot. Well, even the best and most skilled PVP players need a setup that matches their ability. A good setup can make or break even the most seasoned fighters, so having a good resource pack is top priority.

This is where maps this Azzuro come in.There’s much going on for most blocks, although all blocks and items have been redesigned, as the focus is on PVP items. Diamond swords, armour and tools have been given an awesome updated look with a super cool azure colour replacing the default diamond texture.

Swords in general have been given a redesign, and now have a diagonal edge to give them a much more menacing look.

The hotbar is also different in this resource pack. Now the hotbar matches the azure theme and has a background made up of a blue to purple gradient. This works very well for allowing the items in your hotbar to stand out amongst each other.

Unlike some other resource packs, you instantly know which item you have selected, which can be a great asset to have if the middle of a PVP fight.

The second biggest change is the skybox. I must say that along with the maker’s Rose Revamp pack, Azzurro 1.14.4 16x has one of the nicest skyboxes that I’ve ever seen be used in a Minecraft resource pack. It is elegant, simplistic, but incredibly effective.

It is very simple but manages to give off an almost photorealistic style. Sometimes creator’s attempt to convey a lot of detail within their skyboxes, and due to Minecraft’s limitations, they can look a bit crummy. Not here though, this skybox is a beautiful sky blue with fantastic cloud formations that really look the part.
