What is Xray Ultimate 1.15.2?

Xray Ultimate is a resource pack that does what you probably assume it does. The pack’s main function is to offer x-ray vision to players. ‘Why would you want that?’ you might ask. Well, x-ray is a fantastic tool in finding ores and hidden cave systems, not to mention other players’ loot!

Is Xray Ultimate 1.15.2 fun to use?

As x-ray resource packs get updated for more and more Minecraft releases, their function doesn’t change all that much. If in the past you’ve found that x-ray packs aren’t your thing, Xray Ultimate 1.15.2 won’t be any different. But if you’re an x-ray vision addict, then Xray Ultimate is a must have for the recent snapshot releases.

The most clear advantage in using Xray Ultimate over a regular resource pack is that it allows you to see right through the most common blocks, giving you a god-like view on everything in your Minecraft world. You can see pockets of ores, lava flows, hidden cave systems and basically anything else usually obscured by the ground. The added bonus is that since the pack is a resource pack, the installation is much easier compared to similarly styled x-ray modpacks. This way you can use the pack on your unsuspecting friends, so use this super power wisely.

The textures are serviceable for the ultimate goal of providing a see-through view of the Minecraft world. I appreciate the small details in transparent blocks, allowing you to still traverse the world and preventing you from getting lost in a maze of invisible blocks. Practicality wise, Xray Ultimate 1.15.2 isn’t going to become my personal favourite resource pack. It clearly has its uses, but for creative players there isn’t a lot of use to be found here.

With all that said, if you love x-ray resource packs to assist you on your long mining expeditions, then Xray Ultimate will continue to provide the vital x-ray view you need to keep that diamond supply full and flowing.
