The Lonely Island: Is it Actually an Island?
The Lonely Island is a seed with lots of generated structures you commonly find in the desert! There are multiple desert temples, a desert village, and even a shipwreck! Despite the name, The Lonely Island is not actually and island at all.
The Lonely Island is a seed with many naturally generated structures and a strong cave system! In this seed, you will find a desert village, two desert temples, a shipwreck, amazing caves, and so much more!
When first spawning in a world with The Loney Island seed, you will spawn in a savannah biome, however, there are other biomes surrounding you in close proximity. Close to spawn, you will see a bunch of cave openings in the ground, but most of the caves are very small and have little resources. In the sunflower plain biome, right next to spawn, you will find plenty of sheep which can be used as a food source and material for beds.
Walking west from spawn, through the sunflower plain biome, you will come across a desert. In that desert, there is a large village. Within the village you will find animals, hay bales, farms, chests with loot, and a lot of other resources.
This village is built into a hill, so be sure to climb the hill to check out more buildings. Underneath the village, there is a large cave system, with a ravine within the system, that reaches all the way to diamond level.
A short way south of the desert village, there is a desert temple. A desert temple is a structure with colorful clay blocks decorating a small part of the outside. Desert temples will have four chests with loot at the bottom of the structure.
Accessing this loot can be difficult, as desert temples are rigged with explosive traps. One wrong move and all of your loot can be destroyed. To get to the chests, walk inside of the temple. Inside, you will find a clay pattern on the floor.
Mine any block beside the middle purple block and fall into the cavern. Do not step on the pressure plate on the floor, that is where the TNT is. If you step on it, it will explode.
Next to the desert village and temple, there is a dark forest biome with lots of large mushrooms, along with lots of other biomes.
If you go further, you might stumble upon a second desert temple. The rules for this temple are the same as the first, if you step on the pressure plate the temple will explode. You will find different items in the chests in this temple, so it is worth looking for!
Near the second desert temple, there is a water source with a shipwreck right on the shore! As always, there will be chests with items on the ship.
