What is 21 Spooner Street like to play?

The detail in the house of Quahog’s craziest family is definitely represented in this map. If you’re an eagle-eyed fan, there’s plenty to notice and pick up on through the several rooms of the Griffin household. 

Like other dysfunctional TV sitcom families, the Griffins live in an idyllic suburban house with lots of rooms and lots of character. And this character definitely shines through even in Minecraft’s blocky visual style. All of the rooms shown throughout the series make an appearance. The living room, kitchen, basement, even the rooms of Peter and Lois, Meg, Stewie and Chris are fully modelled and can be accessed. 

The design is simple and sweet. There’s nothing too garish but its not minimalist either. It hits just the right notes of both build styles to evoke the character and aesthetic displayed in the hit animated show.

The two main issues are the map being made on a superflat map, and the scope of the overall build. Firstly, you won’t be able to make the Griffins’ house the centre of your next Minecraft survival since this is on a superflat creative map, which is a shame. Secondly, there’s not much else to see other than the single house.

Although Spooner street isn’t explored much in the show, it would have been nice to have some extra scenery around the house and it would be cool to see more Family Guy characters’ homes such as Quagmire or Cleveland, even though some of them don’t canonically live on Spooner Street.

With all that said, if you are a Family Guy fanatic and want to rub shoulders with your animated heroes through the form of Minecraft, you can’t get much better than this 21 Spooner Street Minecraft build map. Freakin’ sweet!
