Minecraft Castle – Roleplay Castle

Minecraft Castle – Roleplay Castle is a Minecraft Castle map that is fun to explore! 

Roleplay Castle is a quaint map that is written in German. When you first spawn into Roleplay Castle, you are in a dark room made completely out of wood. Standing before you is a large sign with writing on it.

All the writing on this map is in German. There are simply too many signs around the map to translate all of them, so I will not be able to repeat what is being said, but I will still give an honest review of the map. 

When you walk further into the room you spawn in, you will see more signs with more writing on it. You will then follow the signs up the stairs and will end up in a large room. The only thing in this room is a jail cell in the corner.

When you walk outside of the doors onto the deck, you will see that you are on a boat. There is a bridge from the boat onto a building. A castle can be seen in the distance. 

You can follow a beautiful path made out of stone and leaves. The path will take you into, what I presume is, Roleplay Castle. 

You will stumble upon a quaint village near the walls of Roleplay Castle. Some of the houses are empty, while others are not. The village itself is small but well built. If you look around the village, you will find a stone staircase that will lead you to the top of the wall surrounding the whole village.

Some buildings in the village do not have roofs, which makes Roleplay Castle seem like an unfinished map. At one part of the map, in the village, you will see the wall and a building completely cut off, as if the creator just randomly stopped building.

It is unknown whether the map is supposed to be like this since all of the signs explaining the map are in German. 

It almost appears as though part of the map was built to look like it was bombed or destroyed in some way. 

Despite the name being Roleplay Castle, there is not an actual castle anywhere on this map. Outside of the walls, there is not much, but there is a large wheat farm. 

Overall, Roleplay Castle is a decent map. There is not much to explore, but I’m sure if I had known the backstory, I would have enjoyed it more. If you do not speak German and are willing to take the time to translate all of the signs, I would suggest giving this map a try.

Another thing to note is that this map does not allow cheats, so you will be in survival without food. If you do not switch into peaceful mode you might die of starvation.

Pros of Roleplay Castle:

• Most of the buildings are decently built and detailed. 
• There seems to be an elaborate backstory to go along with the map. 
• It takes some time to explore.

Cons of Roleplay Castle:

• All signs are written in German, which is not necessarily a con but might be hard as our maps are usually in English. 
• The map looks unfinished in some parts.
• There is not a castle despite the name.

How do I install Minecraft Castles

Download the map file and, using a file extractor, export the contents of the file to a location on your computer. When that’s finished, locate the directory where your Minecraft saves are kept. This will be different depending on the operating system of your computer. If you’re not sure where to look, use the table below:

Just place the Spooner Street folder into your saves folder and just select the save from your Minecraft single player saves list.

The same process applies for multiplayer too, but the location of your saves folder is always different depending on what client or server software you use.
