Castle and Gladiator Arena: A Fun Place to Fight
Castle and Gladiator Arena is exactly what the name says: A castle with a gladiator arena! This map has multiple buildings, all the blue accents. The buildings are very detailed on the outside. The gladiator arena is large and well built, it would be a nice place to have battles with your friends!
Castle and Gladiator Arena is a Minecraft castle that has blue accents on each building. This map includes many buildings to explore. When first spawning on the map, you will spawn on a stone walkway near a small boat. There will be many walkways leading to different buildings. Right ahead of you, you will see a large castle with a blue roof.
This castle is very detailed and nice to look at from the outside, however, the inside is completely dark and empty. The castle looks unfinished when you walk inside. The walkway actually takes you inside of the castle, but, when you walk into the building, the walkway cuts off. This makes the experience of exploring the map less enjoyable.
Behind the castle, you will find a beautiful tree surrounded by water. This adds a nice, peaceful element to the map. Moving along the path, you will pass over a bridge and see the gladiator arena part of Castle and Gladiator Arena.
This arena is very well built and has lots of details. Unlike the other structures, the arena is finished on the inside as well. There are stands surrounding the pit and there is even a small balcony with seating. Next to the gladiator arena, you will see another building.
This building looks like a smaller version of the castle. The outside is well built and detailed, but again, the inside is empty and dark.
Going back to spawn, next to the original castle, you will find a blimp. This structure also has blue in it, as the balloon is made out of white and blue wool. The cabin of the blimp is quite small without much inside, but you can still climb aboard.
On an island behind the blimp, you will see one last structure. This structure is quite tall and skinny, made out of stone and dark wood. It is hard to tell what this building is supposed to be, but it is well built nonetheless. Yet again, the inside is empty.
Overall, Castle and Gladiator Arena would be a nice map to use with your friends, but is not that great of a map if you are looking for something to explore on your own. The buildings look great from the outside, but the insides are empty, so there is not much to explore or look at.
The gladiator arena itself is very well built, fighting with friends in that arena could make for a fun time. If the buildings had some stuff to look at on the inside, I believe this map would have been a lot better, but it was still a fun map to take a look at.
Pros of Castle and Gladiator Arena:
- Very detailed on the outside of the buildings.
- The gladiator arena is very well built and large.
- Can be a great map to play on with friends
Cons of Castle and Gladiator Arena:
- The insides of the buildings were empty.
- Does not take a lot of time to explore.
- It would not be fun to explore on your own, not much to look at.
How do I install Minecraft Castles
Download the map file and, using a file extractor, export the contents of the file to a location on your computer. When that’s finished, locate the directory where your Minecraft saves are kept. This will be different depending on the operating system of your computer. If you’re not sure where to look, use the table below:
OS | Location |
Windows | %APPDATA%\.minecraft |
macOS | ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft |
Linux | ~/.minecraft |
Just place the Spooner Street folder into your saves folder and just select the save from your Minecraft single player saves list.
The same process applies for multiplayer too, but the location of your saves folder is always different depending on what client or server software you use.
