Like I’ve already mentioned, Locket of Iron Texture Pack 1.15 is a resource pack that has only just begun development. Many packs start out this way, releasing with minimal content and then slowly rolling out updates in the future.

Locket of Iron has a simple and clear goal: to reimagine all of vanilla Minecraft textures in an impressive pixel art using the fundamentals of pixel design and by focusing specifically on pallet consistency. From this alone I can tell that this creator is serious about delivering a seriously good resource pack, and from the few bits already available to us, the proof is in the pixel art pudding!

So, currently we only have a few drops of content to look at in Locket of Iron Texture Pack 1.15. But from what we do have, the pack shows a lot of potential. To specify, the GUI has seen an upgrade making it much sleeker and coloured with a much nicer palette selection. Likewise, the totem of undying now has a custom animation, and the grass block has a much more interesting design.

Of course, the biggest downside to this pack is that due to only just beginning development, there’s not a lot of content available. Therefore, I can’t really recommend this pack to those of you after a pack that is fully finished or nearly finished. It is enjoyable on its own merit, but it’s understandable if you’d rather wait until more of the pack is realised.

Although we might have to wait a little while, Locket of Iron Texture Pack 1.15 shows a lot of potential as a resource pack. From the pack’s roadmap and goal milestones, it shouldn’t be much longer until we get to enjoy this pack running on a full tank. So, this is a pack to keep an eye on!
