Lithos:Core Resource Pack is, as the name would imply, a resource pack for Minecraft 1.15 that adds a new artstyle, new textures and even new details to the blocky game we all know and love, oh my! Perfect for a wide range of players, Lithos:Core delivers a visually pleasant yet well-balanced pack that just manages to press all the right buttons. Let’s get into it, shall we?

What is Lithos:Core Resource Pack 1.15?

Lithos:Core Resource Pack 1.15 is well known in the resource pack sphere, and for good reason. Creator of the pack, Lithos has shown their dedication to quality in their three stated goals for the pack: Obviousness, Consistency, Beauty. Sounds pretty good to me! In practice this means a high quality pack that doesn’t disappoint.

What is Lithos:Core Resource Pack 1.15?

If Lithos:Core Resource Pack 1.15 can teach us anything, it’s that you don’t need the highest resolution textures to produce a beautiful resource pack. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of packs that have the largest resolution possible, and much prefer those that stray closer to home when it comes to Minecraft’s blocky visuals. So then, it’s not shocking to know that I was delighted during my whole time spent playing with Lithos:Core installed.

At 32x resolution, the textures used in the pack are beautifully designed and detailed, but also incredibly faithful to the game’s original textures. The creator uses the word ‘familiar’, which I found to be a very pertinent description. The pack oozes originality and creativity, yet manages to create a sense of nostalgia of old Minecraft memories gone by.

What’s more, Lithos:Core Resource Pack 1.15 also has a ton of mod support, coming in at a total of 62 supported mods including fan favourites such as Biomes O’ Plenty, Quark and Iron Chests. This kind of mod support makes it a great option for players looking for a pack they can rely on and maintain as their go-to resource pack in the future.

Thinking about it, there’s very little to moan about when it comes to Lithos:Core Resource Pack. Obviously, if you enjoy realistic packs or packs with impressively high resolutions, then Lithos:Core won’t blow your mind. Further to that, if you like packs that challenge how you see the game’s art style and attempt to take Minecraft to new and different genres, you’re better off looking elsewhere.

With all that said, if you’re someone who needs a pack that delivers on consistency, quality and charm, Lithos:Core Resource Pack is a pack that soars high above all other options.

How do you install Lithos:Core Resource Pack 1.15?

Downloading Lithos:Core Resource Pack is an easy process that takes only a few short minutes. Though, we’ve put together a handy guide if you’ve never installed a resource pack for MInecraft before, or if you simply need a refresher.

To install Lithos:Core Resource Pack, you first need to download the available zip file. When it’s complete, move it somewhere safe. Then find and open your Minecraft’s resource pack folder. Not sure where that is? You can find it easily by going to the game’s main menu and clicking options>resource packs>open resource pack folder. The resource pack folder will then open. You can also go through the files yourself outside of Minecraft by navigating to one of  the file directories in the table below:

Once the zip download is in the ‘resourcepack’ folder, open up Minecraft. Finally, in the resource pack menu enable Lithos:Core Resource Pack as your current resource pack.
