The I Get Around skin is a female Minecraft skin that is absolutely full of personality and oozes quality in every facet of its presentation. The name is in reference to the famous Tupac song “I Get Around”. We know you’re now humming it: “Aw yeah, I get around. Still clown with the Underground, when we come around”. But this skin will by no means have you feeling like a clown when you’re deep underground, so let’s review this distinctive skin, shall we.

What’s it like to use the I Get Around skin?

This skin is a great balance of great artistic license that pushes the Minecraft aesthetic, and the maintenance of a pleasant and coherent skin. It must be said that this skin looks great. It manages to insert a ton of detail whilst keeping everything easy to look at.

The outfit is made up of a cute pair of black suspenders with gold buttons, along with an off the shoulder jacket and ankle boots. I’d wager that this skin draws a lot of inspiration from anime, as well as Japanese and Korean pop culture, as the back of the skin proudly displays a giant white bow on top of the long rainbow hair.

Oh, and what can be said about this skin’s hair do? It’s definitely an eye-catcher. The hair for this skin is a multi toned rainbow but exceeds the amateurish depictions we often see in Minecraft skins. The creator clearly is knowledgeable about colour theory and has actually managed to create an ombre effect throughout the hair, despite having only a few colours (and only a few pixels) to work with.

I think that this skin would find itself very comfortable in many different situations. The outfit isn’t too fantastical or outlandish that it wouldn’t be welcome in a regular Minecraft server, and it has just enough contemporary charm that it could also be used easily in a more roleplay based environment.

With everything said, this is A+ skin, and though the skin has nothing to do with the song as far as we can tell, this is certainly a skin you’ll be wanting to get around in.

How do I install the I Get Around Minecraft skin?

Firstly, make sure to download the I Get Around skin. If you’d like to change your skin in the Java version of Minecraft, you need access to Minecraft.net. Sign into your Mojang account at minecraft.net/profile. Once you’ve done that you need to click on the tab that says ‘skin’ and is situated just under the ‘profile tab.
