Is Hillster Minecraft Resource Pack 1.15.2 fun to play with?

I really enjoyed my time playing with Hillster Minecraft Resource Pack 1.15.2. As many of you know, I love me a good, simple resource pack for Minecraft. There’s very little that causes me visual upset when it comes to Hillster Minecraft Resource Pack 1.15.2, and the pack does an overall great job at offering a pleasantly simple aesthetic for Minecraft.

The pack is generally pretty faithful to vanilla Minecraft. Many of the textures take vast inspiration from, or in fact mimic completely, the textures of the base game. This allows for great integration with a wide pool of worlds and maps, and avoids any potential issues with your builds looking completely different.

The most influence of the new textures seems to be felt on the game’s more basic blocks. Blocks such as grass blocks, leaves and stone are beautifully textured with impressively nuanced colour choices. Likewise, more ornate and decorative blocks such as bookshelves have been changed up as well, giving them a much more interesting visual style and choice of colour.

There are two significant downsides when it comes to Hillster Minecraft Resource Pack 1.15.2. The first is in regards to scope. This pack is fairly simple. It’s also significantly faithful to vanilla Minecraft. These points ultimately result in the fact that some players might not be impressed with what the pack has to offer, and might be better suited looking for a more far-reaching overhaul of the game’s visuals. The second point is about texture resolution. As I just said, this pack doesn’t stray away very far from vanilla Minecraft, so it should come as no surprise that the resolution has been reserved at 16×16. Therefore, if you’re after something with a bit more fidelity and can offer increased textural detail, you might want to look elsewhere.

With that said, if you’re after a beautifully designed, faithful, and low-impact resource pack, then I can’t recommend Hillster Minecraft Resource Pack 1.15.2 enough.
