I loved my time with Epic Adventures 1.15.1 (32x) Texture Pack. Although I do lean heavily towards simple and minimalistic resource packs, I also absolutely adore a well made fantasy pack too. Luckily for all of us, that descriptor is an accurate one for Epic Adventures 1.15.1 (32x) Texture Pack.

First off, this pack’s textures that replace the default Minecraft look are fantastic. The quality and level of artistry in each and every new texture. The creator has gone for a subtle fantasy/medieval style that always works very well with Minecraft’s aesthetic. The colour balance is great and generally speaking, textures are intricately designed but never distract the player from the vital gameplay happening on the screen.

One of my personal favourite additions was the extra detail to leaf blocks. Rather than trimmed blocks of leaves similar to that of a Hollywood millionaire’s hedge maze, these blocks are appropriately bushy and wild looking. This effect is particularly powerful and impactful when playing in wooded areas or naturally-inspired builds. The only downside to this pack for me was the change of some blocks that left effects on how they appear in-game. Specifically, brick stairs bugged me as the changes left my builds looking entirely different.

I can recommend this pack to pretty much everyone, honestly. It’s a high quality pack that lands a powerful punch. Treat yourself and give it a download. Let me know what you think and what packs I should review next.
